Discover the Benefits of the Top 6 PRIMAL Animal Foods! - And How They Aid Diabetics! Plus Food Sources!
(Vol. 2 # 5)

Food! Marvelous, delicious, delectable, scrumptious, PRIMAL Foods! That's what this issue is all about. It occurred to me that while I've given you lists of what foods you should be eating - I seldom give you good solid reasons to go out of your way to obtain a particular PRIMAL Food.

It's an enormous crime that we have to extend so much effort to eat correctly. The PRIMAL foods that will truly nourish you are not easy to obtain. You have to go out of your way to get them. Food that's easy to get is sold in fast food restaurants, convenience stores and supermarkets. These outlets are glutted with processed, packaged, canned junk. To add insult to injury, the TV, magazines, newspapers and even the internet touts mostly sugar and flour laden products that can only make you fat and more diabetic.

Listen, eating well in the USA is a mine field and to survive you have to learn to tip-toe around the death-dealing junk. To thrive, you have to know why you are eating a particular food and how it will help you to heal. This is so you can justify going out of your way to obtain it. It's tough to eat right. I find it a huge challenge, but the rewards are incredible!

Free-Range Eggs!
Let's start with eggs first - because of all the PRIMAL Foods, free-range eggs are perhaps the least expensive as well as one of the most nutritious of all foods. Here's why eggs are so good for you.

Hens that are allowed to forage for insects, worms, seeds, grubs, tender young plants, etc. as they do in the wild, produce incredibly nutritious yolks.

These yolks contain a much better fatty acid profile, where the omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are in an almost one-to-one ratio. In contrast, eggs from chickens feed grains and soy meal can be as much as 19 higher in omega-6 than omega-3. The yolks also contain other very long-chain fatty acids necessary for the development of the brain - but are almost absent in commercially raised eggs. You have to remember that an egg is a self-contained package of food that is designed to nourish a tiny embryo until it is ready to hatch. The nutrients in an egg have to be so complete that it must build an entire creature from a few cells! Eggs contain every nutrient, every vitamin, every mineral - to nourish, repair and build all your tissues from head to foot!

A Living Food - Eggs!
This was one of the foods that truly helped me ease off insulin! Eggs help to repair and re-build all your organs, tissues and blood -  including your pancreas!

How? Again, eggs are one of nature's complete foods. In fact, eggs are used as the reference point for judging the quality of protein in other foods because the amino acids in eggs are so well proportioned. Eggs are very high in methionine, an amino acid absent in grains. They contain sulphur-containing proteins, necessary for the structure of your cell membranes and the amino acid tryptophan essential for a healthy nervous system. Free-range eggs are especially rich in fat soluble vitamins A & D, vitamin B1 and niacin. Eggs also contain a plethora of minerals, including 'heme' iron, calcium, phosphorus and trace elements. - Sally Fallon, Nourishing Traditions.
